Consolidation Tool Kit Manager 2.0 (CTK Manager). This was written in 1994 using GWBasic as a replacement for using spreadsheets to track tools in our toolkits. This was database driven to allow each toolkit to entail what drawer a tool could be found and the status of the tool. The database was searchable and could produce reports as well as printing the contents of each kit.
The Air Force takes tools very seriously and each opened kit is inventoried every time a box is locked or unlocked. Tools are cleaned inspected periodically to ensure tools are serviceable.
